For brevity's sake, three things you are thankful for today. It was cold last night and I am thankful for my sweet wife, HisAlone, cuddled up to me and keeping me so warm last night. It is so good to awaken during the night and feel her close to me. I thank God that the love of my life is alive and well and we are together and facing life together. I am thankful for the cup of hot coffee HisAlone placed by my bedside this morning (she gets up before I do) which helps me to get going on these cold mornings. Thank you Lord Jesus for my sweet wife. I dreamed last night that someone had hit my car in the rear at a grocery store and then trashed the inside of it - but I awoke and it was just a dream and I am thankful my car is fine and I don't have that stress. |

I'm thankful for my wonderfully sweet husband (MrWonder) who always says such sweet things to me and shows that he loves me with all his heart with the sweet things he does for me. He's my very best friend in this world. I'm thankful for Jesus, my very best friend in heaven, who intercedes on my behalf to my Father. I'm thankful for another beautiful day to live, love, serve, worship, and praise my most awesome God. |

You two are so sweet! I'm so thankful to the Lord that He found me a job that's perfect. Just the hours I need and the money. In this economy, I couldn't even get hired at McDonalds (I tried). I start this week. I'm thankful I get to spend the afternoon with my grandkids, because there's no school today and their parents will be at work. I'm thankful that it's finally cool enough outside that it finally feels like fall, and the rain we had yesterday. |

Today I'm thankful for: - All the veterans who have served and are serving our great country. (It's Veterans Day)
- The beautiful sunrise this morning that is gorgeous on the leaves adorned with beautiful fall colors of red, orange, gold, brown, and green.
- The beautiful music on the radio that keeps my mind focused of my Saviour all day long!

I love the fact that Jesus EVER LIVES to make intercession for us. In very simple terms, part of His job in heaven is to pray for us! This is a mind-boggling thought for me and one that makes my heart soar with joy and thanksgiving and makes me rejoice! (I got this from HisAlone's personal site!) I am thankful too for our wonderful men and women who have served in our Armed Forces to maintain freedom not only for us, but for other people in the world, and for the fact our grandson is marching in a Veteran's Day parade today to honor them. I am pleased that he recognizes to some degree their service to us. THANK YOU DON! Yes, that would be our Don on this site, and I am grateful for his years of service to us in the U.S. Air Force. I am thankful that my auto got me to work on time, safely, and with no trouble whatsoever. That's a blessing. |
