Well, Karkar, you could have dusted my mailbox all up while you were in there! Yep, things have gotten a little dusty because there's just not much going on around here anymore. |

Hi Karkar, Thanks for stopping by my mailbox. There's not much up and work is going good. It looks like my job will be ending by Dec. or early into 2009. The company is shutting down the place where I work so I'll be looking for a new job. I would love to have my own business but MrW is not too keen on the idea. I'm praying about what God would have me to do. Other than this, life is great. I'm very blessed with good health, a great marriage, a great church, a pretty good family with terrific grandkids, and some great friends here on the Internet (and I consider you one of them). How's life treating you? |

Hi Karkar, Thanks so much for the prayers, I need them about another job. I am so dreading it! I really do wish you would pray specifically about me starting my own business. If it's according to God's will for my life, that's what I really want to do. I'm so glad you're getting a break from your work. If you want to come down our way, just say so. We have lots of room in our huge house now that it is just me and MrW. My email is hisalone4eternity at a place that is called hotmail if you know what I mean!? I love fishing but not too keen on shopping unless it's for gardening stuff, plants, or stuff for the house. It has been hot here too but we have really been blessed this year with afternoon thunderstorms that cool it down and keep everything from being so parched. No, we were not near that storm that just went over to Texas. It came close to you, didn't it? I hope y'all get some good relief from heat soon. I went to Federal jury duty once and I actually liked it. I wanted to go too so you're not alone in being "bent!" The trial I was on involved a man who sent death threats through the mail to a local judge. Pretty dumb, huh? He was found guilty. I'm leaving work now to go exercise and then home to cook some supper. I may just fix a huge salad. We love salad and I need to watch what I eat because I ate too much yesterday. I'm trying to lose some weight. I joined Curves back in Feb. and I love it! I've lost 8 pounds since then. I actually lost 10 but when we went on the cruise back in May I gained 2 pounds of that back. Thanks for the chat! I hope you have a great evening. See you tomorrow. |

Hi Karkar, Staying cool is a major task, lol. It hasn't been to bad the last couple of days staying between 98 and 103 during the day, but the humidity is up because its monsoon season. We've gotten about an inch in the last month. Which is more than we've gotten all year up until then. Mom's doing alright. She hasn't changed much in the last several months, but not getting any worse either. My grandkids are finally going with me this year to VBS!! I'm so excited about that. Their still young enough that "mormonism" hasn't deceived them to much yet. Samantha who is 12 is really looking forward to it. Should be a lot of fun!! Tina |

My weekend was great! We didn't do too much though. We were going canoeing but all the canoes were taken. I made some homemade peach ice cream Saturday and we took it to a cook out at some friend's house. Other than that, we pretty much took it easy. The weather was overcast with intermittent sprinkles of rain so that kept us in the house. How was your weekend? |

LOL! Yep, Karkar, you better hope Wog doesn't see your post about the boat. We have a nice boat (17 & 1/2 foot ProCraft with a 150HP Johnson outboard motor) but we have had so little time to use it that we let our son-in-law take it to his house and use it as he wants. He has been cleaning it up and fixing minor problems on it, which is nice. He also has a covered area to keep it under. We don't. We were keeping it in our driveway with an ugly brown tarp on it and I made MrWonder move it last year from the driveway because it blocked the view of my beautiful Asiatic lilies when they were blooming. It was a pain to have to move it every time he cut the grass so this year he moved it into our woods, which is about 90 feet of trees and undergrowth at the very back of our lot that we call our woods. The boat was really just "rotting" sitting out there but now, son-in-law enjoys taking it out and fixing it and it's out of my hair so it was a win-win situation for both. I would recommend that you get just a very small, say 14 foot aluminum boat with a trolling motor on it for fishing in small, out of the way places. Those pontoon boats are hard to manuever. Basically, you have to just park them and fish where ever you can. It's almost like fishing from a pier, very confining. IMO. |

Hey Karkar! How are you? I hope you are back from your business trip. I've missed you. I requested this tag for you, I hope you like it. BTW, did you find the one with your name on it here. Hugs, HisAlone |
