Sorry to hear about your job--I will be praying for you. 

 

I am off for a few days so I am going to kick back and relax and maybe go fishing, shopping, etc.  Work is always hectic so I am happy about taking a break.   

 

It has been really hot here lately; but, we did get a cooling off (93) due to the tropical storm.  It's amazing how much cooler it feels when you have been over 100 for days. Were you in the line of fire for the storm?

 

I am thinking of going to Memphis soon just for fun.  We will see...I have to go to Charlotte next month for work.  And, I might get jury duty. I got a notice about it for Federal Court.  How cool!   Everyone always tries to get out of it; but, I think it would be neat to actually get selected.  Maybe I am bent.

How has your past week been going? 

Well...I went fishing Saturday and caught a few.  I was fishing off a covered pier and it looked like we were going to get a pretty bad storm.  The wind picked up; but, nothing ever happened.  lol  It was a little choppy for fishing; but, fun anyway.

 

I am debating getting a pontoon boat; but, I have yet to justify it in my head.  lol   I tend to lean on the cheap side of life and don't spend a lot on "toys"; but, I have been wanting one for a while. 

 

Oh boy....I hope Wog doesn't see this!!! 

 

 

Like a party barge only a little smaller and with a trolling motor and live wells.

 

My roomie has a 15 ft tidecraft fishing boat; but, I would like to at times just cruise on the water with a bimini cover overhead so I don't fry in the sun and just chill on a comfy sofa.  LOL  Check out the fishing barge at basspro.  I would love something like that....only I don't know that I would use it enough to justify it. 

 

The lake I frequent is pretty wide open and the best bass spot is right out in the middle in the deep end.  It would prove to be difficult to get to my favorite chinquipin holes as one is in a cove near a sunken Christmas tree.  I tend to chew on ideas for a long time before acting so I suspect I won't have a pontoon boat within the next five years.  LOL
