2 pounds of country sausage (with Sage)
3 to 4 pounds of potatoes
2 cans canned evaporate milk
flour
water
oil
salt & pepper to taste
dash of chili powder
Biscuit mix (follow package directions)
Prepare potatoes by washing and slicing into thin slices. Place in a skillet. Add salt and pepper and chili powder. Cover. Reduce heat and stir often toprevent burning.
Make buiscuits. (Follow directions on package or use refrigerator biscuits)
Brown sausage in a large skillet. Slowly add flour to skillet until the grease is absorbed. Stir in evaporated milk.
Rinse cans that the milk came in with the water. Add water to sausage mix until you get the desired thickeness. Stir in salt & pepper.
