Onion Relish
1 pound Vidalia onions, or Spanish onions 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted 2 teaspoons sugar 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cut onions into thin wedges. Heat butter in large skillet using medium heat Add the onion and saute for 15 minutes Sprinkle with the sugar Stir in the vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Serve with steaks or hamburgers |
