I don't fix this very often as with the Tuna Patties it is something that Doug & Brianna don't like. However my family and most of our friends out here do so I do manage to get it at least once i awhile.
I have used basically the same mixture and made a loaf and baked it as a meatloaf. I don't use as much crackers as I do for patties and bake it in a loaf pan. I also add shredded cheese to the mixture.
These make excellant sandwiches and if you make the patties in a long shape instead of round you can use them onthose typw of buns. Skinny long shapes can be served on hotdog buns. On sandwiches I like to serve them with cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce, and a dill spear onthe side. Below is my menus I usually serve when making these.
Salmon Pattie Subs
For subs: Lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese slices. (sometimes also add slaw)
Dill pickle wedges
Pasta salad
Corn ( on the cob if I have it)
Peas

here I vary, I may have a soup like a potato chowder or the following.
Tater Tots
slaw or salad
Salmon Patties or Salmon Loaf
Au grautin potatoes (Cheezy Taters)
green beans or baked beans
salad of some sort, generally a greensalad to balance the meal.
