Hi Guys....

Better late than never.
Had a great time today meeting Joy for lunch in Vinita.
We had chinese.
It's always a treat for me to get to see her.  Only get to
visit with her twice a year....but at least we have email.
She looked great, as usual and is as sweet and funny as
ever.
Who would have ever thought that a note from someone at
a Lung Support Group would have lead me to a neato friend!
Guess the computers aren't all bad......lol

I finally managed to change the "skin" at my AIMOO group and
there are lots of members from MSN over there now clamouring for
them to get us something like the html editor we have here.
So, we'll see.

Hope everyone had as nice of a day as I did.
Weather was great for the trip...cloudy and cool.

See ya'll tomorrow.
Hope to get to some sewing and maybe have my embroidery machine
running as I'm sewing.

Nite-Nite.......:)  Huggies to all

Hi everyone, Just sitting here finishing up my coffee for the mornin. Got several things planned for the day. Finally the sun is back shining again. This makes a person feel good. Plus we can save on heat. Well it is grocery store day today. Must do a little early since I go to see doc tomorrow and my granddaughter is here Friday. Must also get some dinner ready for when my hubby comes home from work. Not sure what to have. Was going to have spaghetti  today, but not enough time.
Might be goin to lunch with a friend. I feel like a big salad. Or salad on some thick bread. Maybe a sub shop. Better scoot & get some of these things done. Days awasting.

Good morning. I was a busy girl yesterday. Got three Thanksgiving boards up here and running as well as worked on the house for inspection today and also worked on sitting up my AA group at Amioo. They transfered  the stuff with oit any difficulty. So will look to see how this ''practice'' group does. Since they will transfer the stuff, I  may go a head and transer stuff there for storage. Still not sure as to where we are going to move. Lots to learn about all the stites that I have been checking.

I won't be on  again  until later tonight. Today is Home League in the AM  and then I  come home, get Lauren and take her in for guitar lessons. Not sure if we are going to the store tonight or not.

Found out that the ex is bringing a date to the Graitude Banquet this Saturday night that we are both going to. I am going  partly because I am a district officer. I thought about staying  home but them I got to thinking that I amnot ging to let him keep me away from amything else. I didn't do anything wrong, so I need tostop being so nice, co-operative, understanding and  compromising as to what is good as far as him. Instead one of the things I will be doing today or tomorrow will be to find a killer outfit to wear. This will give my ego a boost  to know that I look smashing as well as knowing that people are going to say he left her forthat. Oh by the way, the one that  he s brining is one that was supposed to be a close friend to me and one that  I opened up my home to and took in when she was homeless.

Well Tim is putting  his shoes on and I need to get ready to leave. I will be back sometime tonight or this evening is possible.

Well first may I say, congrats to Gaylene. Glad to hear you are taking this approach on things. Get a killer outfit and go out and have fun dear. You deserve it after all you've been thru. Stand up to your ex & show him you can have a good time without him. He just brings a casual date, probably just to make you jealous.
Well my day started out getting my breakfast in & watching reruns. Got tired of that real quick so, thought I'd see what is going on in here. Got a Dr. appt. later. Before must get some paperwork done, take a bath, get some personal stuff taken care of. Just the other chores.
Tomorrow guess I'll have Victoria. So that will fill most of the day. Well 3:00 will be here sooner than we think, so better scoot.
Kittie

Cindy, all kind of  good news tonight from you. Congrats on the new baby, and also for the new  bed. Like Mary I have often wondered about them so  keep us postd.

This has been a busy day. I got  up in time this morning to get  ready, take Tim to work. I had a little time so I ran into Walmart on the way into town. Didn't buy a thing that trip, I  juat checked on a couple items and left. I wanted some new yarn but they didn't have  what I wanted.

Went to Bible Study and it was a goodone today. Aftre Bible Study went to lunch with a coule of the ladies and spent over 2 hours just visiting with them. Left there and went to K mart and then to Fred Meyers. Then on to Silverdale to the bank and picked Tim up. When he got off work headed back to Bremerton to Walmart for a few things in the grocery line.

Dissapointing news is that I haven't found an out yet. So tomorrow I am taking Tim to work again and then hit the stores in Silverdale, even the mall if neccessary. Part of the problem is having to watch the amount that I spend.

Whewn I pick up  Tim tomorrow evening he is breingingme back in with the girls and dropping  us off for neighbor hood nights and then he and Tammy are going to the movies.

Well that wasw my day. Still looking and working on  practice groups at my various locations for reforming the groups. No decesion yet as to where we will be moving, except to say it won't be Yahoo.

Hello, thought that I better stop by and check in. I am so tired of shopping. Of corse the only shopping I really like to do is  grocery shopping. But after three days of intense looking,  trying on more outfits than I purchae in a year I came up with an outfit. I actually came up with three and an axtra blouse that a friend got me.

So here goes......
Outfit one....I got a blouse that is a black bacckround with a colred designed and has sequins on it. 0rignial cost...38.00 - store cost - 22.00, my cost after clearance - 6.00. This is to wear with the brand new black slacks I have that I atill need to shorten.
Outfit two....A black dress, short. Comes up in a circlular neckline. there are no sleeves and the bodice and chest connects to the  neck line. The neckline is a collar effect, covered with satin and black sequins. There is about a 3/4 strip oif satin at the bottom of the dress that goes all around. semi loose fitting, made of chiffon with the satin trim.  0rignial cost...78.00 - store cost - 38.00, my cost after clearance - 5.00.
Blouse.... My friend got a burgandy colored velour top. I t is plain, elbow length sleeves, and an oval neckline. I can wear it with my new skirt or I have two different pairs of dress pants I can wear.
Outfit three....This is a three peice pant suit. It is a country blue. The outer material is chiffon and the pants and shirt are lined. The outer layer of chiffon of the blouse is silver sequined. The pants and the shirt atre of a heavier chiffon. T he jacket is three wuarter lenght and is of the heavier chiffon, trimmed in a light chiffon and embalished with sequins.
Outfit three is the one I am wearing. My soes will either be a bronze dress sandle or a pair of suede pumps.

I amstill working on moving groups in to storage.  I am not sure just how this is going to work. I am hoping that I can use one group just for storage of the groups from here at MSN. Even if it works out that we some way stay here at  MSN I  am going to o0pen back up groups at a diffferent  site as well as back up the groups with the stuff from here.

Need to go some things, but hopefully next week will be calmer and I  will be here more.

Whooohooooo...Gaylene...:)

Your new outfits sound great...... I liked number 2 the best...but you need to
go with whatever makes you feel the best and the one that you are most
comfortable with!
Anyway you could get someone to take a picture???????? (That's a hint, in case
you didn't pick up on that)....roflol

And, yes, I took your advice and went back to my cellar and had a couple
of Baileys!

It's gotten cold here....had a cold fron come thru and we had gale force
winds for over 24 hours!  Good grief.  At least the winds have subsided.

Gaylene...check your classgranny email.....:)

See ya'll tomorrow

Hi all on this snowy, Sunday mornin. Oh just looked out the window & it is windy also. Well the weather forecasters say, which ever way the winds blow; depends on who gets the snow accumulations. Hope it all goes the other direction from us. We are considered in a snow belt.
Next order of business, Gaylene, hoping you had fun last night. When you have time, fill us in on the details.
Remember I am here to help in any way with the moving of the clubs. Don't let yourself become stressed over the deal.
I found out at the Dr. the other day that stress just adds to health problems. Better close out & get more chores done while hubby is napping.

My goodness - has it really been a week?!?!

Cindy with a new great grandbaby - get us some pics soon.

Gaylene - what fab prices - all super chocies.

Mary - stay out of the Bailey's - we don't won't you to get lost in the basement.

Kittie - I am so jealous of your snow.

Joy - At least you are being braver than me with PSP.

Rhonda - I can so-o-o identify with "go to my room and shut the door"

Peter - I am bored with hockey - LOL - guess I will watch the Leafs tonight.  I forgot to watch the Canes Sunday afternoon until the last 8 minutes.  Maybe they do better when I don't watch.

It turned cold today.  I love the cold weather but don't really care to get out in it.  We have had plenty of rain the last few days but all of that has past.

Let Maggie out at 7pm hoping the cold would drive her back in quickly.  No such luck - I finally had to go sit on the freezing porch and bribe her with treats to come to me.  Burrrrrr

Jean is all moved out except for a couch, daybed, stove -
She ask if I wanted the stove and I said yes that I would take it for part of the damages.  She wasn't too happy about that but she didn't say anything.  I think she was counting on it taking the place of the rent she owes me for November.  She will be staying there until Wednesday.

$200 plus dollars for a 12 year old plain stove - I don't think so.  Then she said that since I didn't like the way the door looked (too long to tell about that) Laralee would paint it back white.  I told her that I didn't want Laralee to do that because I was already going to have to pay someone to sand down and re-stain the door facing from her last painting spree.

Leighanne is with Katie about not renting the apartment out - so I thought to open a little book nook - but she says that is too dangerous - that no telling who I would have show up to just scope out the place.  So she suggested that I go ahead and get started with my ebay business and use that down there for all my sale stuff to get it out of my rooms up in the main part of the house.

So now I have no excuse not to get started.  I have all sorts of stuff to offer plus all packaging materials.

Looks like I simply will not get to the beach.  I had planned to go ahead and take the children this coming weekend but Leighanne has planned Ben's birthday for this coming Sunday (or Saturday - I don't know yet).

My injured left hand has healed very well - It had swollen up so bad last Tuesday that I was really scared that I might have to go to the doctor on Wednesday but it was so improved Wednesday morning that I knew I wouldn't have to go.

I am suppose to see Dr. Hoskins on Tuesday but I am going to have to move my appointment again.

Have made a BIG dent in the library/living room and the kitchen.  Spent a good bit of time working on my recipe cards and bookmarks for Christmas.

See y'al later.

Love and peace in Christ, Glo

Hi everyone, Certainly is a mixed bag of weather this mornin. The sun is out, its windy, snow is comin down, & temp is freezing.
Well I finally got my crockpot lid back when daughter in law brought up my granddaughter the other day. Have my spaghtetti & meatball dinner started. I was getting antzy. Can't help it, I love to cook. That at times is my therapy to relax.
Checked the skin tag that the student Dr cut off the other day & was to caterize. Told to take off bandaid in a couple days. Did this morn & it just started gushing blood all over. Guess if this keeps up, I'll have to take care of it myself. There are several freezing kits on the market. Oh well at least I found out they are benign.

 Good Afternoon

Boy am I glad last week is over. It was busy and long for me. Difn't help that I spent three days shopping. Considering I hate  shopping unless it  is for groceries that wasn't a fun time for me....lol

So my schedule last week threw mw behind and I started on things today. I have applied now to move 5 more groups to a back up site. I decided to  move everything and then decide where to move us permantely. Only problem I have ran  into is being able to start more than 3 communities per email. I can join all of them one under one email, but when I have several that are for nothing but storage it adds up. I figureon three for just moving those groups, and three for moving the others. I hope to have all that accomplished by the first of December. Hopefully will be able also to get the groups set up this week. I also want to see what I can findout about possibly the Windows Live Groups that was rumored. IF, and you notice that is in capitals, they do  have that then I may  check into  keeping us here at MSN, especially if the fpormat for groups would be near what we  currently have. Although they may do away with groups entirely, I can't imagine them doing that. Or maybe that is just me in denial....lol.

ANYWAY........

Saturday night I received so many complaments on how I looked and the outfit itself. Too bad that Doug didxn't shoe  up and see me...hee hee. Yesterday when I  talked to him he said he had planed on coming, but sat down to read awhile before getting ready and went to sleep. It was a  nice evening, but I can't say that I really enjoyed myself all that much. The girl that was on registration with me wasn't that good to work with and then I just felt so  alone being there by myself. Sure I sat with people I knew and toalked with some I knew but I wasn't with anyone and so I  felt out of place.

Sunday morning they honored 6 of us at church for our work  with the youth. I am one of the  leaders of the Girl Guards. I figured  they were honoring Austin and  Nyomia, so when they called Amy, Steven, Sally and I up I was suprized. They gave all of us a thank you  gift, mine was a cute scrapebook with little girls Precious Moments. Amy got the same, she works with the Sunbeams. She has decided to do the same thing that I am going to do. For each of out groups we are going to take pictures of our girls, their activities, them working on things and put them  along with other mentos in the album. Then at such time that either of us no longer work with the group we will donate the album to the church to become a permanent record.

Tim went Saturday and got the girls beautiful pictures for their walls and the family a freezer. Christine's picture is of a tiger and Laurens is of horses. The freezer is  something we have needed since we moved here and although it might hurt finically it is needed.

Tammy is already clearning things in prepartion of Christmas decorations. The Thanksgiving decorations are all out. If I do say so my self I did a good  job on  the arrangements and decorationg. Tammy  helped with the placement of stuff so  she gets credit as well. For Christmas we will have a mixed theme of relegious, snowmen and Santa. The snowmen will stay  up through Janurary while the rest gets put up. In Jan. will start getting some things ready for  Valentines day and then each month will work on things for the next months theme or holiday. Sometimes this may just be flower arrangements and other times could incluse a theme.

Going to the grocery store to night. I need stuff for Wednesday. This is the week that I and another of the ladies are cooking. I am going to do some muffins tomorrow as well as a tomato soup, but there I am cooking a strata. Will  take the  soup in  a bowl and then put it in the crockpot once I  get there.  The muffins I am not sureon yet. I may make a cople different kinds. I  am considering  corn muffin with creamed corn and red sweet peppers in  them a swell as a muffin that I include either  bran or gronola into. The other part is fresh fruit and that is what two of the other ladies are going to get.

WELL......

Need to move on. Want to make an announcement and also  do some posting since I haven't been around a lot.

Kittie I love the graphics that you  use. I  sometimes snag one or two.
