Spunky Onion Gravy 3 cups water, divided 1 oz. envelope Lipton onion soup mix 2 Tbs. flour
In a small pan, bring 2-1/2 cups water to a boil over medium high heat. Stir in the onion soup mix; cover and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the onions are plump and tender. In a small bowl, combine the flour and the remaining 1/2 cup water; whisk until smooth. Increase the heat to medium high and add the flour mixture to the onion mixture. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Serve at once. Not: for a thicker gravy, add an additional tablespoon of flour.
