Cream Gravy 2 Tbs. drippings or other fat 2 Tbs. flour 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt 2 cups warmed milk, half-and-half or cream 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Heat drippings in skillet. Stir in flour. Remove from heat; whisk in warm milk. Return to heat and stir until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Don't skim on the pepper-or the gravy. Stir real slow. Lots and lots of stirring.
