Cheddar Herb Bread
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. each garlic powder, paprika
1 loaf (1 lb.) French bread, sliced
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine first six ingredients; beat until smooth. Spread on both sides of each slice of bread; reassemble loaf.
Wrap in a large piece of heavy-duty foil (about 28x18"); seal
tightly. Bake in a 375º F. oven 15 - 20 minutes.
Makes 1 loaf
Note: Grill, covered, over medium heat 15 - 20 minutes or until
heated through, turning once.
