Nut Tarts Serves: 36
  Ingredients:     | 1.00 |  c |  Butter (2 sticks) |    | 1.00 |  pk |  Cream cheese |    | 2.50 |  c |  Sifted flour |    | 2.50 |  c |  Light brown sugar (1 box) |    | 4.00 |  tb |  Melted butter |    | 1.00 |  ts |  Vanilla |    | 2.50 |  c |  Chopped nuts |    | 3.00 |   |  Eggs |   Instructions: Dough- Mix together butter, cream cheese and flour as for pie crust. Line small muffin tins by patting in mixture. Fill 1/2 to 3/4 full with nut filling. Nut filling- Beat eggs, add sugar gradually. Add melted butter and vanilla. Add nuts and mix well. Bake in moderate oven 350* for about 20 minutes or until light brown. Makes 8 dozen. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving  |
