CREAMY PESTO
3/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated) 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 1/2 cup pine nuts 5 cups fresh basil leaves (washed and dried) 4 cloves garlic 1 dash butter
Remove basil leaves from the stems and wash and dry. Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth. Also, try substituting sage or parsley for the basil.
