hi Dottiemaye! cute mailbox! i'm anne from everett, washington formerly (and lived there all my life) from honolulu, hawaii. i've only been here for 5 1/2 years now, and i still cant get used to the cold. i'm a psp addict tho i'm kind of in a slump now. i'm not sure why,,,,got a new job and everything is different. i love it but it is just different. i'm a medical technologist. in a hospital laboratory now, i used to do that work before but i hurt my hands so i was a secretary for a while. now i'm back after i had surgery on my hands. its just a different life it seems. my hubby sean works at wallmart. we don't have kids but we have 3 cats. i'm glad you decided to join us, hope you like it here. please visit my mailbox when you get a chance and tell me about yourself! and hope to see you on the boards! hugs and luv, anne |

Hi Dottiemaye! it is nice to hear from you!! yes Tacoma is not very far from us, maybe about 3 hour drive away. i've been there before it is a nice city. i think is the base there Fort Lewis? my dad used to be stationed there a long time ago. we visited there when he came over to visit us about 5 or 6 years ago. so you do knit and crochet, i do cross stitch lol. right now i'm doing a landscape but it is taking me forever because of my job and everything i don't have much time. i would love to see your work sometime! you could post it on the general board so everybody can see it! thanks for the e mail and the g mail invite, i'll have to check it out. there must be copyright safe yahoo groups out there i'm sure. i belong to a font yahoo group, it doesn't post much but all the fonts have to be free fonts. i never post i just snag haha. i don't have many fonts now anyway since i lost all my stuff. hope to hear from you soon! and see you on the boards thanks for being such an active member, for awhile this group was soooo dead! hugs, anne |

Hi Dottiemaye! I love your mailbox tag, it's kwel!!  I read your message in my mailbox.....I noticed you indicate you are a Diabetic...well guess what?......yeah....me too....I've been a diabetic for almost 2 years now....I hate it !! I try my best to get it under control with the meds but It's just so hard to watch what I eat since 99% for our foods contain carbs! I will have to become a rabbit eating nothing but salads.  .... I hope you are doing well and don't worry if you can be here everyday.....checking in with us at least once a week (if you can) would be okay. Take care hun, Hugs. Minrey |

Hi Dottie, I so glad you like our group......for awhile there I was having some personal issues in my private life and I was unable to visit my own group as I should so I have struggled to keep members. but I am back now and trying my best to keep this group alive...So I hope you all like it here long enought to stay for a long time!  I'm not on insutlin either but I do take Metformin. I started an exercise program about 3 weeks now and I'm working out 3 times a week at the Gym, trying hard to eat properly, so far I've lost only 4 lbs. but hey that's better than nothing right? lol Take care hun, I'm off to the store for some fattening food! ha ha Just kidding........ hi Dottiemaye! just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing from your fall and everything. hope you've got some help from the doctor. once i slipped on the ice and hurted my left arm, it hurt for 2 months the x rays were negative so it wasn't broken but it went away eventually. hope your pain goes away. now i am paranoid about walking on the ice. but its almost spring so hopefully it won't snow anymore. we just got a big snow last week but no ice, it melted quickly. we got 6 or 7 inches. thats the most snow i've ever seen! right now i've got about 400 messages in g mail i've been saving so many tubes have you joined those groups by the way? can't save tubes now but when i get my computer back hopefully it will be before my weekend off. then i can do that all day. haha. well take care of yourself and hope to see you around! Hi Dottiemaye, How are you doing? hope all is going well. Hun I want to ask you, that when you vote for our group if you would please type in the number of your vote instead of copying & pasting the entire text from the voting site. I was told that when we copy & paste the text is is concidered bandwidth theft. I don't know if it really bandwidth theft, but just to be on the safe side, it's best if we just type in the number. Can you do me a favour please? I left three tags on School's 'newest tag' thread for denise, I know she has picked up at least one of them but could you make sure she has found all three of them, Native American - giraffe with zebra and little girl with heather. thanks hun.
