Many people have heard this expression, and many people take this view of
Deity. That the many Gods and Goddesses of the world's pantheons are really just aspects or facets of a single Male Being and single Female Being. If you are one who holds this viewpoint, it's important to remember that not all Pagans do.

Believing as I've described above, is called soft polytheism. On the other
hand, hard polytheism is the true belief that all Gods are separate and unique
individuals. Which one is right? Well, I suppose we can never know. Only the
Gods themselves can understand their nature
