George L. Christian
 
 George Leslie Christian, son of Marion and Margaret Christian, was born in Dallas County, January 4, 1888.  He passed away in the Springfield Baptist Hospital, Springfield, Mo., March 23, 1954.
 He was married to Rosa Hill in January 1913 and she preceded him in death February 23, 1951.  He professed faith in Christ a few weeks ago at the Free Will Baptist Church.  He is survived by two brothers, Earl of Higginsville, Mo., and Leonard of Lexington; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Mason of Spring Valley, California and Mrs. Maude Cheek of Claremore, Oklahoma and several neices and nephews and many relatives and friends.
 Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 26 at the Jones and Son Funeral Home with Rev. E. H. Michalkowsky officiating.  Burial was at Piagah Cemetery under direction of Jones and Son.
