Alma Ellen Gaunt Bradley, eldest daughter was born Dec. 14, 1894 near Long Lane, Mo., and entered into rest at her home on June 24, 1957 after an illness of two years.  At the time of her death she was 62 years, 6 months and 10 days.
 She was unite in marriage to Wilford A. Bradley On Dec. 22, 1912 and to this union thirteen children were born.  Levin of Buffalo: Dessie Pinkley of Elkland; Eula Cheek of Springfield, Mo., Elbert of Long Fane: Naomi Wingo of Plad; Bill of Elkland, Nadine Burtine of Eureka, Kansas; Irene Bennett of Elkland; Phyllis Peinderter of Long Lane; Travis of Buffalo; and Avery stationed with the U.S. Air Force of Mobile, Al.  Essie Fae, twin of Dessie Pinkley and Buddy J. died in infancy.  Besides the above mentioned children she is also survived by her father, Foster Gaunt of Buffalo, 33 grandchildren; six sisters; Mrs. Dora Howser of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Ata McDaniel of Long Lane; Mrs. Jewell Rose of Kansas City, Kansas; Mrs. Anna Gann of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Paney Richerson of Buffalo and Mrs. Daisy Andrews of Santa Paula, Calif.; three brothers, Everett Gaunt of Long Lane; Clarence Gaunt of Elkland and Paul Gaunt of Buffalo also a host of other relatives and friends.
 She was converted at the age of 15 and united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and later moving her membership to the Long Lane Christian church and later moving with her companion .  She was very devoted Christian wife and mother, always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends and her neighbors.  She bore her long illness with the patience  and asked others to meet her in her heavenly home.
 She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends, especially by her devoted companion who so tenderly cared for her during her long illness.
 Her greatest desire was to see all of her children Christians and in homes of their own.  This desire was completed when her youngest son was married only two weeks ago.  She loved her sons and daughter-in-laws as her own.
 All was done that loving hands could do, but God saw fit to call her home.
 I will not say that she is dead, but she is just away.
 Funeral services were held at the Long Lane Christian church June 26, 1957 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Earl Sechler officiating.  Interment was in the Hill cemetery under direction of the L. B. Jones Funeral Home.
