Dorcas Elizabeth Hill Dean
 
 Dorcas Elizabeth Hill, daughter of Washington and Amanda Hill, was born September 15, 1870, and departed this life July 29, 1941, at 10:45 a.m. at the age of 70 years, 10 months, and 14 days.
 She was married to William Garrison Dean January 13, 1899.  To this union three daughters and six sons were born: Mrs. Jennie Flanagin of Sullivan, Mo., the late Mrs. Hattie Blankenship, Mrs. Inez Hamlet of Bolivar, Ralph Dean of Springfield, Charley Ean of Santa Paula, Calif., Henry Dean and Frank Dean of Buffalo, Paul V. Dean of Kansas City, Kan., and Printes Dean of Chino, Calif.
 Other survivors include 28 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 sisters, 1 brother.
 She professed a hope in Christ in her early married life and united with the Cedar Ridge Baptist Church.
 Mrs. Dean also leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing.  She has been a loving mother annd a devoted companion, and will be sadlly missed by all who knew her.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.H. Michalkowsky at Prairie Grove at 2:30 Saturday, where burial followed under direction of L.B. Jones.
