I am searching for information about my Scott family.

This is the information that I have so far.

James Monroe Scott(my gr-gr-grandfather),b.6 Nov 1856-Dallas Co., MO-d.18 Oct 1926,Jenks, Tulsa Co., OK
married: 18 May 1873-Miller, MO to Nancy Jane Alexander,b.30 Jan 1857,Warren Co. Kentucky-d.8 Feb 1935-Oklahoma. Both are buried at the South Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, Creek Co., OK.

On LDS Family Search I found two items. One was James, wife and three children in the 1880 census. On this it stated that his father was born in KENTUCKY, mother in MISSOURI.
The second item was a listing for James with siblings and parents, but on this one it lists his father and mother as born in MISSOURI.This second item also has an incorrect birth date. Also on the census record it shows James to be 24 which would make his birth year 1856, instead of 1853 which is what our family has always said???
I am really thinking that his father was probably born in KENTUCKY but mainly because his wife came from KENTUCKY and it just seems logical that some of these families moved to the same places.....but maybe not.

The children of James Monroe and Nancy Jane(Alexander) Scott are:

Minnie-b.1875 (married an EGAN)

Melvina-b.1876 (don't know married name, but had children named:ADA, DALTON, and MARIE)

William Edward(my gr-grandfather)-b.22 Nov 1880- married:Ann Elizabeth EDGE, children were:

Nettie Beatrice (Scott)Drye(my grandmother),b.1 Nov 1907,(married George Otis Drye. Children Barbara Ann, Jay Otis, and James Douglas Drye.)

Bonita Del (Scott)Chesser,b.23 Sep 1909, (married Fred Chesser, had one son- Ervin Chesser.)

Both Nettie and Bonita were born in Dueneweg, Jasper Co., MO)

Cora- married TOM WOMACK, children:Bessie and Jessie

Sherman-b.9 Aug 1890- don't know spouse, but children were Billy and Jimmie

Ethel Mae- b.1892?married: Robert Lewis Nelson. Children were: Robert James, Charles Lawrence, Ethel Louise, Mary Jane, Wanda Mae, and Dora Jean Nelson.

Dora Florence-b.17 Oct 1897 at Franks Switch, MO- married: Clarence Cornelius Taylor. Children were: James Walter, Donald Ray,and Dorothy Fay Taylor. Donald and Dorothy were twins.

That is about all of the information that I can think of that might be helpful ... hoping someone will recognize some of this family and have the information that I am searching for.Any lead or scrap of information is more than welcome. I need help!!!! Thank you.
