Hoping someone will recognize these people, of course! ;)

Hello, I guess the most common denominator we'd have, is the name SARTWELL and EVANS
We are of the Corn(w)ell Line and Our own common denominator is a George CORNELL
The joining of these lines occurred in MO...around the 1870/Dallas,Co & 1880 Census.
I feel that the following will either make no sense at all to those reading it...or, hopefully, will
coincide with, the info of someone who's relatives are someway involved, here, too.  the
Cornell/Corn(w)ells and Sartwells were neighbors in Dallas Co., but may have further ties in
other MO counties.

NOTE:  Here (1870) is where Helen/Hannah Sartwell shows up in a Census w/George Cornell
by 1880 George's son, David has left his 3 dtrs, Louella(Louellen)/Clara/Eva(Eva's whereabouts unk., thereafter.
There were two EVANS boys in the 1870 census with George & Helen.  (I will find & post later)

FROM A DIFFERENT E-MAIL:
Sherry, you can post if you like, but I am getting the impression no one knows anything or is NOT talking. Betty and I have been at this for a long time and we sometimes air things like this as to see if the other can see what one has missed. I beginning to think David is Daniel and visa, but not willing to stick my neck out anymore without proof ahha.

Going over records and here is what we have:

We know George married Lydia in 1/18/1846.
We know from census she had a Daniel in 1844.
We know from census she had a David in 1847.

Note: If Daniel's birth is correct, he may not be the child of Lydia's or he was born out of wedlock. If David's dates are correct then much closer to being within marriage dates.
*************************************************************************

We know from CW George on June 16,1863 filed a lawsuit against 59th reg. of Ohio Volunteer Inf. for the return of his under age son Daniel.
We know from this, Daniel Enlisted as a Private on 12 September 1861 , making him about 16-17 years old.
*************************************************************************
We know that Lydia died at the age of 37,Nov.1859,dob year about 1822.
This leaving Daniel about 15 years of age.
This leaving David about 12 years of age.

We know that Lydia is NOT in the 1860 census but a Sarah is born abt.1853.
 *************************************************************************
We know that by
1870 census a Hannah shows up and gone by 1880.
We know from 1870 census that Helen boys were there -but NO Helen.
We know Helen's first born child, Charles was born abt.1863.
We know Helen's second child William was born abt.1864
We know from census of 1850 Ohio Medina , Helen abt.11 making her year of birth about 1840/41.
We know that 1860 Missouri Camden Co. Russell twp. her parents were near by George and NO Helen at home with parents.
We know from said census Helen was about 14 - 15 years of age when she gave birth to Charles.
We know from said census that she must have been with Unknown Evans at the age of 13-14.
We know from 1876 McDonald County, Missouri Township Helen is with George.
We know that George P. was born abt.1868 .

My guess on Helen's husband Evans died in the civil war.
*************************************************************************
From George's pension papers.

We know that Katie new Helen's maiden name SARTWELL.
We know David, was educated and was a school teacher as per family stories.
We know from pension records George's children with Helen were not educated.
We know from pension records that the 5 children George, Katie, Frank, Andrew and Ira, did know each others birthdays much less the year.
We know from pension records Katie was told by here father the dates but not the year of each child.
We know Katie was about 10 years when Helen died so this could be some of reasons of unknown dates on her father death, Helen death and marriage to Dorinda Jane, Katie corrected many dates in another deposition.

We know that Helen died April 6,1881.

We know George married Dorinda on AUG.27, 1882 Macks  Creek, Camden, MO.

*************************************************************************
What we know about David:
As per census he was born abt.1847.
We know that his children knew him as David.
1850 With parents Clermont Co,OH.
1860 Unknown
1870 Unknown
1872 Texas,Clara was born.
1874 Texas,Lonella was born.
1876 Texas, Eva was born.
1880 McDonald Co,MO.delivered the 3 girls to there grandfather George.
*************************************************************************
What we know about Daniel:
As per census he was born abt.1844 before Lydia and George married.
We know from CW.Daniel Enlisted in on 12 September 1861 and Discharged on 16 June 1863.
We know On June 16, 1863 - George Cornell filed a lawsuit against 59th reg and won.
*************************************************************************
If Daniel David was born 1844 in the year of 1863 he was 19, if born 1844 he would have been about 16.
