I may as well get into this too...
Does anyone have information on John Manuel Haney,
Sarah A. White, Martha Ellen White, Mahalie Dean, John D. White? There are more names but this is a start...
I have a website at: http://webpages.charter.net/cscorup/haney/index.html with the information I have collected so far on my family. Keep in mind this is continually being updated as new information or corrected information is discovered.
I would love to talk with anyone who may know anyone in my family line.
Deb -- Where did you find the census information?
Does anyone have recommendations on a genealogy program?

First ,happy hunting on your
family line. Second , I use family tree maker, and I have since it first
came out. I love it...Third, I am using www.genealogy.com right now too get all my
census information, however, www.ancestry.com has the same information ,
and may even be cheaper.
I will keep my eyes open for
your White and Haney while I search through our family. The way it looks we had
family in Dallas County from 1855 till ? We still may have family there now.
which, is what I am hoping too find for us.

I just purchased the family tree maker
software and should have it in a week. Is the information available on www.genealogy.com and www.ancestry.com worth subscribing to?
