Looking for any information concerning the following families:
Stinecipher, Cranfill (Cranfield), Looney, Mathis, Norman, Welker. Mallott, Holloman, Wingo.  All of these families have Jackson ties.  Found each of them listed in the Dallas County, MO History book but want additional information.  Any assistance would be great.
thank you,
Ray Jackson

Ray,

I have some information of a few members of the Holloman family. The following Hollomans show up in my data base: Hannah (1827-1900), John Richmond, Martha L., and Nancy Arialee. Let me know if you are looking for any of these and I will provide what I can, including some photos of burial sites in Dallas County.

I have 23 Hollomans in my dbase; beginning with Pleasant (b: 01 Sep 1803 in Cocke Co., TN and d: 03 Apr 1865 in Meigs Co., TN), his wife Susannah Richmond Brady (b: 30 Apr 1809 in KY and d: 14 Apr 1888), plus their twelve children.  One of their daughters, Mary Jane "Polly" Holloman (b: 22 Jan 1836 in TN and d: 22 Jun 1875 in Dallas Co., MO) was my great-great-grandmother by virtue of her marriage to Orlando Dickson "O. D." Alford, my great-great-grandfather. Pleasant & Susannah's oldest daughter Hannah (Polly's sister) married John M. Alford, who was O.D.'s brother.  I have a couple of  records of some of Pleasant and Susannah's other children's marriages and children as well if these would be of any help to you.

Let me know,
Janice

Sounds like we need to talk. My great great grandfather had a sister
named Cynthia C. Jackson (27 Hul. 1830 - aft. 1900). She married an
Isaac W. Cranfill (03 Aug 1823 - 15 Feb 1899).
They had the following children:
Mahala Jane Cranfill (b. 26 Aug 1853) m. John H. Stinecipher
Martha E. Cranfill (b 30 Jan 1857) m. Unknown Looney
Children: Anna Looney, Della Looney
America P. Cranfill (b. 1863) m. Unknown Mallott
George W. (William?) Cranfill (b. 1860)
Theodotia B. Cranfill (b. 1866) m. Unknown Holloman
Children: Harriet F. Hollomon (b. Sep. 1885)

I hope that you can make a connection. I'll be gone for the weekend,
but will return Sunday evening.
Thanks
Ray Jackson

Ray,
Thanks for the additional data on Theodosia Cranfill.  I show her married to Owen Miller Hollomon (like your Cranfill name, Hollomon appears with both "mon" and "man" on the end, depending on the record.)  I am attaching a .pdf file for you that is all I know about the Hollomon-Cranfill connections, often via the Alfords, my family.  You will find Owen Miller Hollomon at #16 on the report.  Let me know if you have any trouble opening the file or find any corrections that need to be made.  -Janice

Janice,
Are you related to this family? I have been unable to locatee anyone
from this side of the family. I know a little bit more to this family
on the Jackson side if you do not have it.

Janice, the file would not open. If you can send it to me at [email protected], I would appreciate it. Thanks, Ray

I know a Ray Jackson.  Ray, where are you from? I think we might be "kinda" related.
