Mr. William Alexander Hill was born in Dallas County, Missouri on September 4, 1888, died March 29, 1959 at the house on Route 1, Long Lane, Missouri at the age of 70 years old, 6 months, and 25 days.  Was united in marriage to Millie E. Harmon, September 10, 1908.

 He was the son of Monroe and Mary Hill who preceded him in death.   Also preceded in death by one brother, Mrs. Clara Grove of Los Angeles, California; one son, Mr. Clarence Hill of Long Lane, Mo., seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends; two sisters, Mrs. Linnie Strickland, Elkland Mo.; Mrs. Ida Hinis, Shirley, Arkansas.

 Funeral services were held at the L. B. Jones Funeral Home Tuesday, March 31, 1959 at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Milton Elmore officiating.  Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery under direction of L. B. Jones Funeral Home.
