Mrs. Lena Eisman Hill
 
 Lena Eisman Hill, daughter of August and Lena Eisman was born March 1, 1891 at Kansas City, Kansas, and departed this life at Burge Hospital, Springfield, Missouri on Sunday, March 15, 1953 at 9:20 p.m. of a heart attack.  Being at the time of her death 62 years and 14 days.  She moved near Buffalo, Missouri with her parents at an early age.  She professed faith in Christ in her young girlhood, and joined the Baptist Church at Buffalo, Missouri.  She later moved her membership to Prairie Grove Christian Church.  She remained a faithful member until death.  She was united in marriage to John Wesley Hill, March 13, 1910 Near Long Lane, Missouri, and later moved to the Praire Grove vicinity where she spent her most enjoyable days.  In later life she spent many precious hours at needle and handy work, which she enjoyed very much.  She was a great lover of flowers and nature.  She was a loving wife and mother.  Always willing to help others in time of trouble or sickness.  To this union four children were born.  She is survived by her husband, John Wesley Hill and children, Frank Wesley Hill of Independence, Missouri; Dorothy Ann Fullerton of Santa Paula, California; Enda Oral Watkins of Louisburg, Missouri; Ethel Mae Hardison of Elkland, Missouri; other survivors are: 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 2 brothers and 4 sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, 2 grand-children adn 1 step sister and 1 step brother.  Funeral services were held at Praire Grove Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18th with Rev. Earl Sechler officating.  Burial was in the Praire Grove Cemetery under direction of Jones and son.
