Died at home nine miles east of Buffalo, at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, after an extended illness from dropsy, Nancy J. Hill, aged 57 years, 10 months, and 28 days.  The deceased was one of the best known and most highly respected ladies of Wilson township and her death is generally mourned.  She was a member of the Free Will Baptist church and her Christian life was beautiful from its beginning to its close.  Through all the vicissitudes and sorrows that she met in the way of her faith in God never wavered.  She leaves a companion and seven children, all girls, who have sympathy of all.  A short funeral service was conducted by Rev. Brasier, at the family residence Saturday afternoon at the close of which, the remains were conveyed to the family burying ground and there interred for their long rest.
