Phillips Dale McDaniel, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl McDaniel was born December 27, 1927, and died at his home near Spring Grove September 26, 1928, being 8 months and 29 days of age.

 He leaves to mourn his departure a father, mother, two sisters, and one brother; the cause of his death was unknown to all.

 Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Joe Pinkley at the hill cemetery where interment followed.

 "Little Dale, we are coming;
 Rest in peace until we do.
 You made days on earth so happy,
 For dear father and mother, too.
 You are gone, O little angel.
 And we see you hand in hand
 With the one that gently took you to that beautiful golden land.
