The moon is full and bright And we shall see what can`t be seen on any other night: Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls, Grinning goblins fighting duels, Werewolves rising from their tombs, Witches on their magic brooms. Haunted House Author Unknown There`s a house upon the hilltop we will not go inside, For that is where the witches live, Where ghosts and goblins hide. Tonight they have their party, All the lights are burning bright, But oh we will not go inside The haunted house tonight. The demons there are whirling and the spirits swirl about. They sing their songs to Halloween. "Come join the fun," they shout. But we do not want to go there, so we run with all our might And oh we will not go inside The haunted house tonight. Obituary S.M. Junkins S.M. Junkins who was born May 12, 1878, died April 12, 1913, age 34 years and 11 months.
At the age of 19 years old he was married to Susie Burtin, to this union three children were born, all of whom survive him.
Samie, as he was commonly called, was loved by all who knew him. He was a loyal husband, a kind father, and a dear friend. He was devoted to Sunday School work, and was always a good adviser to the Sunday school.
Through all of his sickness he never once complained, always believing that God's way was best. He was always patient until the end.
All was done for him that loving hands could do, and the loyalty of the members of the I. O. O. F. lodge showed the love they have for their brothers.
By his request he was laid to rest at the Cedar Ridge cemetery, at 2 o'clock Sunday, April 13th. The Crudington Cemetery The cemetery is located about one mile east of Louisburg.
