Miles Fredrick Rush
 
Miles Fredrick, son of C. F. and Dora Rush, was born in Illinois October 5, 1874.  Departed this life January 13, 1929, following a short illness as a result of blood poison at his home east of Buffalo, Missouri.  He was married to Lillie Warner in 1897 and to this union wre born nine children, three boys and six girls.   Three of the children preceded him in death.
 He professed a hope in Christ in 1911 and joined the Christian Church at Union and lived a faithful member until death.
 Besides the children and wife, he leaves to mourn his death five sisters, who are Mrs. Rutha Warner of Long Laone, Mo., Lissie Bishop of Ponca of Ponca City, Mrs. Katie Franklin of Fairland, Okla., and Dora Smith of Saxroxie, Missouri.
 Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at home by Rev. R. B. Turner and interment followed in the Powell Cemetery under direction of C. E. Routh and Son.
