William F. Triplett
 
 William Fredrick Triplett, son of John and Sarah Triplett was born Feb. 27, 1869 at Long Lane, Mo. And departed this life at the family home at Long Lane, October 22, 1958 at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 25 days.
 He was the youngest child of a family of 14 children.
 He was unite in marriage to Mary Frances Hill Jan. 5, 1905.
 To this union were born nine children: Gilbert who preceded him in death at the age of 8 years; Oral of Springfield; Forrest of Buffalo, Dorris who passed away Dec. 2, 1950; Arbra Springfield; Marie McGinnis, Elkland, Fred of the home at Long Lane; George A. Jones, Ok.; and Oris of Spokane, Wash.  His wife preceded him in death July 1, 1954.  A great-grandson, Randall Le Carden passed away Oct. 18, 1954.  In addition to the above his survivors include 24 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
 W. F. is the last of a large family that has lived in Cheek school district since before the Civil War.  He spent his entire life there except for a short interval at 2 or 3 different time in life.
 Funeral services were held Saturday Oct. 25, 1958 at 2:00 p.m. in the Liberty church with Rev. H. E. Marshall officiating.  Interment was in the Liberty cemetery under the direction of the Montgomery Funeral Home of Buffalo.
