William H. Smith 
 
 William Henry Augustus Smith, son of Aaron and Betsy Ann Hornick Smith, was born May 25, 1878 in Dallas County, Mo., and departed this life at his home near Long Lane, Mo., March 2, 1963.
On July 4, 1900, he was united in marriage to Priscilla Isadora Rush, who preceded him in death on April 14, 1937, and to this union were born 7 children: Charley Everett, Francis Aaron, Clifford, who died at the age of 2 years, Richard Willis, Mildred Ruth, Mabel Ellen, and Neil Rush.  In addition to the above mentioned wife and son, he was also preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 4 sisters and 1 grandson.
 He was married to Anna Belle Wright.
 He leaves to mourn his passing, 4 sons: Charley and F. A., both of Long Lane, Missouri.  R. W. of Chicago, Illinois and Neil of Marshall, Mo., 2 daughters: Mrs. C. C. (Mildred) Smith, and Mrs. Earl A. (Mabel) Smith both of Pasco, Washington, his wife, Annabelle of the home, 17 grandchildren, 6 step children and a host of other relatives and friends.
 Funeral services were held Monday, Mach 4, 1963 at 2;30 p. m. at the Montgomery Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harold Mayes officiating.  Interment in Hill Cemetery under direction of Montgomery Funeral Home.  Escorts: Leland Jasper, Joe Maxwell, Richard Lee Jasper and Johnny Jasper.
