Mrs. Charley Smith
 
 Flora Alice Smith, daughter of Greenberry and Arminda Williams, was born April 4, 1905 at Long Lane, Missouri, and passed away at burge Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, March 17, 1957 at the age of 51 years, 11 months and 21 days.
 She was united in marriage to Charley Smith on Mrch 14, 1926.  To this union five children were born: Mrs. Virginia Thompson adn Dorris Jean Dampier of Long Lane, Missouri, bobby Smith of North, Missouri, adn Bonnie Faye Smith of the home.  One son, Billy, her father and mother, and one sister, Ruby, preceded her in death.  She is also survived by five sisters and three brothers, Leta Barclay and Ray Williams of Buffalo, Missouri, Mrs. Leah Bennett of Long Lane, Missouri, Mrs. May Wing, Frank and Clyde Williams of Emporia, Kansas, Enola Belle Place of Pendleton, Oregon and Ruth Scott of St. Louis, Missouri, nine grandchildren and many relatives and friends. 
 She was converted adn baptized and joined the Free Will Baptist Church at Benton Branch on May 14, 1922.
 Flora was a wonderful person to all who knew her, always greeting her friends with a smile.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
 Funeral services were held at L. B. Jones Funeral Home March 21, 1957 with Rev. Ross Carter officiating.  Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery under direction of L. B. Jones.
