Homer Ira Slack, son of Mr. & Mrs. Lester Slack, was born on October 25, 1926 and died om March 8, 1948, at the age of 21 years, 4 months, and 12 days.

 He was born again at the ge of 9 at the Macedonia church and later united with the Charity Baptist Church.

 He leaves to mourn his departure, his parents, one sister, oner brother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Maynard Lilley, two nephews, one niece, his grandfather, J.A. Slack, and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Homer spent his entire life in Dallas County.

 Funeral services were held at Reynolds Chapel Thursday, March 11, at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Russell Ingram, assisted by Rev. J.C. Pinkley.  Burial was in Reynolds Chapel Cemetery under direction of L.B. Jones & Son.
