 Funeral services for Paul Slack were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, in the Montgomery Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul Bliss officiating.  Burial was in Hill Cemetery under direction of Montgomery Funeral Home of Buffalo.
 Paul Slack, 79, of Route 4, Buffalo, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at his home following a long illness.  A lifelong resident of Dallas County, he was retired farmer.
 Surviving are his wife, Enola of the home; one son, Paul Ray Slack of Buffalo; one brother, Lester Slack of Buffalo, six grandchildren, Gary, Larry, Paula, Jerry, Terry and Barry Slack, all of Buffalo; and by three great grandchildren.
