Susan Ann (Bradley) Slack daughter of Edward and Lucretia Blevins was born December 18, 1861 at Knobnoster, Mo. and departed this live on January 20, 1955, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lewis Slack, 6 miles east of Buffalo, being at the time of her death 93 years, 1 month and 2 days.
 She was united in marriage to David L. Bradley on January 1, 1882.  To this union three children were born.  Eugene D. Bradley of Buffalo, Mo., Lou Ellen Slack of Long Lane and Wilford A. Bradley of Long Lane.  Her husband preceded her in death on March 16, 1920.
 On June 8, 1928 she was  married to John D. Slack, who preceded her in death July 1, 1929.
 At an early age she was converted and became a member of the Long Lane Christian Church.
 Grandma, as she was called was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
 She leaves to mourn her passing the above name children and their companions.
 One half sister, Mrs. Frankie Wells of Fillmore, California; two half brothers, Edd Blevins of Peculiar, Mo., and Charlie Blevens of Fairland, Oklahoma.
 Also eight stepchildren, Elic Slack, Emporia, Kansas; Roy Slack, Council Grove, Kansas; John Slack, Emporia Kansas; Asberry Slack, Buffalo, Mo.; Lewis Slack, Long Lane, Everett Slack, Wichita, Kansas; Myrtle Flinn, Warrenton Oregon and Belle Shattuck, Pittsburg, Kansas also thirty grandchildren, eighty great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
 Services held at Buffalo Christian Church at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, January 23, 1955.  Minister Rev. Chas. Macy.  Burial Hill cemetery under direction of L. B. Jones.
