J. W. (Will) Swift
 
 J.W. (Will) Swift, son of Tom and Mary Swift, was born February 15, 1892, near Buffalo and passed away Saturday April 5, at 2:25 a.m., 1958, at the Baptist Hosptial in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 66 years; 1 month, and 21 days.
 He was united in marriage to Betty Dill, February 14, 1924 at Buffalo, Mo.  He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Betty Swift of teh home at Long Lane, Mo., his mother Mrs. Mary Swift of Long Lane, Mo., one sister, Ethel Owens of Buffalo, mo., two brothers, Frank of Marshall, Mo., Virgil of Kansas City, Kansas, one step-daughter, Mrs. Ted Williams of Long Lane, Mo., seven step-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.  His father, two step-daughters and one step-grandson preceded him in death.
 He was converted at an early age and united with the Free Will Baptist church at Benton Branch, where he remained a member until his death.
 Funeral services were held at Benton Branch, April 7, 1958, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gene Eldson officiating.  Interment was in Benton Branch cemetery under direction of the L. B. Jones Funeral Home.
