George W. Williams
 
 George W. Williams, son of George W. Sr. and Angeline Williams, was born in Dallas County May 4, 1878 and died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Buffalo February 14, 1951 at the age 72 years 8 months and 10 days.
 He grew to manhood in the vicinity of Charity and lived all of his life in Dallas county, except about five years spent in Springfield.
 In July, 1889 he was untied in marriage to Elizabeth Routh.  To this union were born three sons, all of whom survive.  They ate Claude of Buffalo, Ralph and Herbert of Kansas City.
 Elizabeth passed away February 3, 1939.  Later he was married to Tennie Routh, who was with him at the time of his passing.
 He professed faith in Christ early in life uniting with the Mt. Pleasant Baptist church, latter to the Baptist church of Buffalo, serving as a deacon for 24 years and has served as chairman of the board of trustees for many years.
 He leaves to mourn his departure him companion, the named children, one grandson, George Richard, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Myrtle Pendagraph and six step-grandchildren of San Jose, Calf., two brothers, Green of Long Lane, Edd of Moorpark, Calf., two sisters, Mary Cline of Conway and Pearl Hawley of St. Joseph, and many other relatives and friends.
 Services were held February 18, 1951 at the First Baptist church with J. E. Jackson officiating, assisted by E.H. Michalkowsky.  Burial followed in Oak Lawn cemetery under direction of L.B. Jones and Son Funeral Home.
