Green Berry Williams
 
 Green Berry Williams, born July 18, 1874, departed this life on December 27, 1952 at the home of his daughter, May Wing, Emporia, Kansas at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 9 days.
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Armindia Elizabeth, and one daughter Ruby.
 He is survived by one brother, Ed Williams of Moorepark, California and two sisters, Mary Cline, Elkland, Mo., and Pearl Hawley of St. Joseph, Mo.
 He is also survived by 9 children: Leta Barclay, Buffalo, Mo., May Wing, Emporia, Kan., Frank Williams, Emporia, Kan., Ray Williams, Buffalo, Mo., Clyde Williams, Emporia, Kan., Flora Smith, Long Lane, Mo., Enola Belle Place, Pendleton, Oregon, and Ruth Scott, St. Louis, Mo.
 There was also 31 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
 He was a native of Dallas county and professed his faith in Christ at an early age and attended Long Lane Christian Church.
 He was a kind and loving husband and father and he will be sadly missed by his many friends and relatives.
 Funeral services were conducted at the Long Lane Christian church December 30, 1952 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Howard Headings officiating.  Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of L. B. Jones Funeral Home.
