Noticed the Jennings name in your post and have just come from the Evans pictures, posted by member, called LadyNic who has several names that interested me and puzzled me, also.  She has a question on her McClurg(Clure?) picture of Gennings/Jennings...maybe something of interest to you?  I have Chastain and Ford from my Subletts/Elams from KY who somehow got to OK in the early 1900's w/o evidence of going to MO, but with connections there, that I don't understand, yet.
(I have Palatine/Hugenot connections to the original Colonists, Chastain and Faure (Ford, thru the Gardners (Geneste) and they keep crossing back and forth.  Hard to figure it out.  I have been tracking my Cornells thru the Sartwell/Evans (see McDonald l880 Census for two Evan's boys, Charles and Wm., in hh with Geo Cornell/Helen Sartwell and 3 girls, one of whom became my Ggrandmtr...Louella Cornell/AHPittser, her father was George's oldest son, from another marraige, but they were in Dallas Co, before moving to McDonald Co.
