Well if you can't get to California, or Canada, or the Dakota's, you purchase these things online... Also, if you work long hours, don't have access to the woodz, or have a large herb garden, this is the route ya go... Must be nice to never have to buy it! Where do you get yours Wolfie? Do you also grow large quantities indoorz during the winter months? Wow~I envy you! |

Idaho, being basically high desert and mountains is covered with the stuff -- I start gathering it in the late spring and hang it to dry -- depending on the year, I can gather it right up thru july or until it gets too dry. It has to be fairly moist when ya hang it out or it won't dry right. Naw, I don't grow it indoors -- just make sure I have enough on hand for the year at hand. FYI, I have always made the time to gather sage as it is very important to my rituals.

If memory serves me -- there are eight or nine different kinds of sage in Idaho -- never knew there were so many different kinds till I came here -- in different areas of Idaho there are different types of sage. There's even a type here that is known as "ghost sage" -- it may come up in one place this year and somewhere totally different the next (miles apart) it has a different scent and a different look from most sage. Other than that -- all of the various types have their own appeal. Wolfie |

I'll chase some down a little later in the year and give it a heave er something -- it'll have to be dried for some time but as soon as it's ready -- just tell me where to send it -- I'll even throw in the proper rituals for nothing. lol Wolfie |
