About Us... Well Meet! We are Damages Dream Realm...
We are a private Pagan community striving to obtain balance as we walk our walk... Our ultimate goal is achieving spiritual satisfaction.
We were a former top MSN Pagan community... 256 members strong. The original group was deleted by myself due to MSN's obnoxious bullshit. This community therefore, my Phoenix...
We have just recently been granted the use of the name again by MSN. We last gathered as "Damaged Paganz!"(Our sister site; now closed to new membership).
We were re-established September of 2004... We have lost a wealth of information in the past years, henceforth; we are ever in the process of restoring and rebuilding!
FYI!...
"Damaged" is taken from "Damage", my own true given name of many years. It derives from the Latin "dam num"... Damage, loss. The dictionary gives the meaning as harm or injury: physical harm or injury that makes something less useful, valuable, or able to function. My own interpretation of the word, as well as the origin behind it's bestowment on me, is Strength. The old saying "that which does not kill me, makes me stronger"... I do not believe battle scars or injuries that we obtain on our journey through life make us weak, nor do they make us "less useful, less valuable, or unable to funtion" (pertaining to the meaning of the word in dictionaries). They MAKE us... They make us and shape us into who we are. They feed, as well as fulfill, our faith... They enable us to function... I believe balance is not truly acheived until you have walked the shadows; emerging into the light with no fear of the dark.
