I have been very busy and sorry I have not checked this group in a bit.  First of all I have been on Yuwie making all kinds of friends........then I have been doing things and broadcasting all over the interent to those who live in the Northern Shanendoah Valley.

Some Brick Company wants to come in a mine our mountain.  There is conflicitng news--I get from the site that they are going to strip mine it and pollute our waters---then someone calls me from the News Radio station and he tells me they are going underground with the mines.  They don't want to make brick out of the minerals--they want the shale.  We don't want them messing with our mountain or the valley below!!!  I went to my first picket on Sunday!  They have moved the hearing for them to get a permit to this Wednesday.  It was previoulsy scheduled for May 6th.  This is good news because the longer they hold that meeting back the better chance they will find out they are not wantd here!

Here are the two websites they have for this.  They have had several e-mails from out of the country much less just out of the county--which is Berkeley County.

They have a yahoo group on there on the right of the page and you can go there and get updates and more information and ask questions.
