Pagan Studies: Spell to Protect a Special Man


Purchase or make a tie. Before presenting it as a gift, find a quiet space. Make a ritual
circle using a golden cord

or ribbon with a picture of your special man inside it. Place the tie in the center and
say:

Amaneut,
Heed my request.
Imprint your will,
This man protect.
O shadowed one,
Please hear my wish.
Protect the one
Who wears this gift.

Place the tie in a box and tie it thrice round with the golden cord, making a knot at
each turn. Imagine all your protection and love being sealed in the knots. When the gift
is given, the energy will be released to the one who opens the knots. Amaneut is an
Egyptian goddess of protection. Her name means “hidden one,�?and if her shadow falls on
