The Full Moon in Capricorn, at 7:00 am EDT, tends to control our feelings as if
that can make them more concrete. We don't trust our emotions now because change
doesn't seem as reliable as sensible logic. Unfortunately, this can make us hard
and calculating. Meanwhile, a slow-moving opposition between Saturn in loveable
Leo and Chiron in social Aquarius is activated by the Moon as it enters Leo at
8:45 am EDT. We may struggle with memories of not being heard while we currently
overstate our needs to hide the pain.

Summer is in full swing with our eye toward Lughnasadh in only a few
weeks.Lughnasadh, (after the God Lugh) or Lammas ("Loaf-mass") celebrates the
first harvest of grain.We start to see the days grow shorter as the fullness of
summer wanes - the life force of the sun god is slowly draining into the earth
since Litha. He has once again ensured a bountiful harvest.
Our altars are adorned summer flowers, fruits, and vegetables all in celebration
of the Sun and the Earth's bounty.We bake bread to acknowledge the grain
harvested and craft corn dollies as a spiritual manifestation of the harvest in
honor of all that we have been given.
To personally align yourself with this time year, one should appreciate all that
is bountiful, and begin to look at where we can reap the benefits of the hard
work and energy
Marie au Ble - The third Monday in July was celebrated up until 1823 in
Valenciennes with a parade. The street porters chose a girl, who dressed in
white, led them on a dancing procession through the streets, proceeded by a boy
carrying a tin plate covered with a white napkin on which were displayed the
first grains of the year. These festivities went on for eight days. MacNeill
believes this holiday was related to the first fruits festival of

Seed Thought
In our desire to bring forth the fruitfulness of our souls, sometimes we end up
wearing ourselves out and taking on so many things that we feel overwhelmed.
Being overwhelmed makes it very difficult to listen to the still, small voice
within, or pick up on the messages that the Universe leaves for us to follow.
Try this advice of the guiding spirit White Eagle. "When your tasks seem a
little heavy and overwhelming remember to do one thing at a time quietly, and
leave the rest because the rest is not your job. What you cannot get through you
must hand back to God and She will work it out for you."
