Waning Moon Magick: From three-and-a-half to ten-and-a-half days after the full
moon. From the Full Moon to the New is a time for study, meditation,and magic
designed to banish harmful energies and habits, for ridding oneself of
addictions, illness or negativity.
Balsamic: The end of one cycle and the beginning of another.
Keywords for the Balsamic phase are: transition, release, transformation,
renewal, purity. It is the phase in a cycle when you must let go of everything
you have been working on that does not deal with current cycle issues. During
this phase you reflect on the passing cycle and prepare for the new. Trust in
renewal. It is important to separate from others now so that you can clear the
intellect of negativity. LET GO. Become still and meditate.

While Mercury is retrograde, familiar channels of communications become tangled
and confused. Expect delays and changes

understand how we feel now, think of Niagara Falls. The water moves as it washes
over the precipice but the focus of the power does not. The unwavering hydraulic

It has to do with gratefulness. From time immemorial, people have lit candles in
sacred places.
You may want to begin or end your day by the sacred ritual of lighting a candle

One single guideline is all you need: Slow down and do it with full attention.

About Mina Koya: The salt goddess of the Pueblo Indians, Mina Koya is often
venerated during autumn festivals
for her power to cleanse, protect, and preserve things, including our homes and
traditions. Her healing power becomes
all the more important as winter's chilly hold gets stronger.
To Do Today: A New Mexican festival, Shalako is an all-night ritual of dancing
and chanting to bless homes,
commemorate the dead, bring good weather, and improve health for all
participants. One tradition that honors
Mina Koya and draws her well-being into the sacred space of the home is that of
noise making. Take a flat-bottomed
pan and sprinkle salt on it. Bang this once in every room of the house (so some
of the salt shakes off). This banishes
negativity and evil, replacing it with Mina Koya's blessing. To improve the
effect, chant and dance afterward, sweeping
up the salt and keeping it for the weather charm that follows. Or, flush the
salt down the toilet to flush out any maladies.
If it's been wet or snowy and you need a reprieve, bind a little salt in a white
cloth and bury it. The weather should change temporarily soon thereafter. This
bundle will also protect your home and its residents from damage by harsh
weather for
as long as it stays in the ground nearby.

The Fairies are a part of my life, just as many other helpers too and today
they're reminding me of how many people I know in my immediate life,
including myself, that desire more romance in their lives. This card is telling
us that Romance is on the way either by a new partner or a revival of an
existing one. You've desired change in your life and recently have made
some big ones and wanting more romance is something you want. In
the past,you've talked yourself into believing that you were not worthy of
romance for whatever reason, that it may not be a part of the picture for
you anymore, but don't be fooled, the fairies are telling you today
that anything is possible and that romance is on the way for you, so get
ready!! Passion is necessary in our lives, and you have so much of it and you

Daily Aromatherapy Tip - Holiday Bookmarks
If you're giving a book as a holiday gift why not add a bookmark to
which you've added a few drops of essential oils. Try to choose
something that will appeal to most folks like Orange or maybe a blend
of Lavender and Tangerine. The Orange is great for kids. Create a
bookmark for students adding oils to help them study, Peppermint,
Rosemary and Basil will help keep them alert. Add a bottle of the
essential oil so they can refresh their bookmark. Maybe spice oils
for a cookbook. The possibilities are endless.

White Russian Deep Hair Conditioner
Splurge Spa Recipe
1/4 cup moisturizing milk
1/4 cup Kahlua

*Affordable at Home Version
1/4 cup cooled coffee
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup milk
Combine ingredients and apply to freshly washed hair; then wrap hair
with plastic wrap and over with towel to retain heat. Wait 10 minutes
and rinse well.

Chocolate Champagne Body Wrap Spa Recipe
4-5 fresh strawberries
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup chocolate morsels (chips)
1/2 cup champagne
*Affordable version
4-5 frozen strawberries, thawed
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup chocolate morsels (chips)
1/2 cup sparkling cider
Additional items: small clean paint brush, plastic cling wrap, water
bottle
Directions
Melt morsels in microwave. While cooling, puree strawberries and honey,
then add to chocolate. Apply to entire body with pain brush, starting at
feet. Once covered, spritz on a military of cider and water and wrap
well with cling wrap. Wait 15 minutes. Rinse.

Footsie White Choco Latte Spa Recipe
2 cups moisturizing milk
1 cup Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

3 cups milk
1 tsp cocoa butter
1.2 tsp vanilla extract
Mis: foot basin and hand towel
nail polish
Directions
Heat milk until warm and mix with cocoa butter and vanilla extract in
basin. Soak feet for 10 minutes, rinse, Pat dry, then massage more cocoa
butter into feet and coat nails with polish.

Lemon Drop Martini Facial Scrub Spa Recipe
1 tsp Absolute Citron Vodka
1 T. sugar
*Affordable version
1 tsp lemon juice
1 T. sugar
Direction
Mix sugar with lemon juice to make a paste. Then use fingers to massage
over clean, dry skin for one minute. Rinse well.

Spa Recipe
1 T brown sugar
1 cup milk
1 tsp Rum
sprinkle each of cinnamon and nutmeg

sprinkle each nutmeg and cinnamon
Additional items
small bowl and hand towel
hand cream and nail polish
Directions
Fill small bowl with milk and cinnamon. Soak hands for 5
minutes, then rinse well. Mix brown sugar and nutmeg with enough water
to make a paste, massage into hands, then rinse and pat dry. Massage
hands with lotion and slick nails with a festive shade of polish.

In some of the Wisdom scriptures, this feminine figure resembles the Hindu
goddess Kali, for she transcends all
duality and offers a vision of a new, unified cosmos. We find the same intuition
expressed in contemporary chaos
theory. Where once the word chaos described an irredeemably disordered state, it
has now been learned that
disorder yearns toward order just as significantly as order breaks down
inevitably into disorder. The whole system,
order to disorder to order to disorder - is called chaos.
Wisdom is an image of chaotic disorder, a figure who is able to bring together
the apparent opposites of life and to
reconcile them into a new order. As long as we cling to one pole of a duality,
we are forced constantly into confrontation
with the other pole. By removing the two poles, by forging a unity between them,
we are able to move beyond our fears
and into a new, crystalline freedom.
