Crescent Cakes
* 1 cup finely ground almonds
* 1 and 1/4 cup flour
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 2 drops almond extract
* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 1 egg yolk
Combine the almonds, flour, sugar and almond extract until well mixed. With the
hands, work in butter and egg yolk until blended. Chill dough. Preheat oven to
325F. Shape dough into crescents. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for
approximately 20 minutes.
