What a chaotic time of constant change this has been!
That New Moon solar eclipse aftermath has really been something... it definitely wreaked havoc in my world... and on Sunday the 23rd the Autumnal Equinox declared a seasonal change. This yearly balance point often coincides closely with the Harvest Full Moon.
As summer turns to fall each year and school and work routines begin to return to "normal", we often find ourselves trying to re-establish old patterns. However... forget about that in the wake of these recent often-overwhelming eclipse energies! It's really important to flow with the changes now as the old continues to be washed away. You won't create a new life by sticking to the old order... I think someone somewhere defined that as insanity.
The process of harvesting implies gathering the goodies and necessary resources (the wheat) and cutting away the no-longer-useful (the chaff). This Full Moon shines particularly brightly on the balance in all your relationships... beginning with your primary relationship with your higher power.
The Aries Moon says "I am" or "me" and the Libra Sun says "we (sh)are." That's the balance this Full Moon time calls your attention to in a nutshell... a healthy balance between your needs and those of others.
Support for a more spiritual outlook is echoed by the planetary set up as you're asked to expand your focus from self, to one-on-one, to a broader collective context... from your personal will to attunement with a higher will and a loftier purpose.
Nonetheless, this is still a very personal checkpoint and Aries is considered to be the "warrior Moon". Mars rules Aries and this warrior energy is cosmically intensified now adding fire to all of your thoughts and communication. However, the ruler of the Libra Sun... Venus, goddess of love, beauty, peace, and balance, is also intensified. The key is to be a sacred warrior who combines fiery courage with thoughtful compassion in the pursuit of harmony. If things get heated, breathe into your heart and repeat this phrase to yourself from A Course in Miracles... "I would see peace instead of this".
