Hi All,

It has been a long time since I taught Dream Reading...
So many years have passed, but I recall these were some basic requirements...

1: Keep a dream journal beside your bed, with a pen and light.

2: When waking, grab a tiny piece of the dream, if all you can recall is a dog, write 'dog' in the journal, as something could trigger a memory during the day that brings 'dog' to your mind, and you cauld get more 'input'.

3: Make an affirmation to yourself that you can and will remember your dreams.

4: Inlist the aid of your Angels or Guides to help you...

5: Remember a dream is a reflection of your 'inner' Self.

6: We all have a Dream 'Censor' who will 'cloak the messages', if they are too 'raw' for your conscious mind!  The mind needs to be protected, as the 'Real Truth' would unbalance it...

7: Dreams are quised in symbols.

8: If you wish, buy a dream book. Take Jans suggestion on the book, as I don't use them. Look up the symbols to help you interpret your dream clues...

9: I use intuition and eXperience in life, plus what I have learned as Soul (meditations, OOBs) to read my dreams as well as others...

10: Be patient with yourself! The skills will be developed in time.
I have been reading over 25 years, and I am wrong many times.

11: Always remember the Dreamer is the best one to know what makes sense of the dream, what another sees, may not fit that dreamer.

When someone recalls their dream and writes it out for you, the first thing to do is read it and let it sink in a bit. Go do something else, then come back to it.

Break the dream down to the symbols that are prominent in the dream.

Get a dictionary. Look up the symbol in the dream. Simplify!

Act like you are an 8 year old child, and ask yourself  what  the meaning for a symbol is...break it down to its' most simple meaning. use the dictionary. Ask yourself what the symbol does, is used for, etc.  Just like you are teaching a child...As you are.

Say the dream is about a green car. Ask yourself- What is a car?
What does a car do? As you progress, you integrate your Spiritual knowledge... A car is something you drive, a vehicle, an eXtension of the self (like putting on another body) when one enters it. The green color is the same color of the Heart Chakra, which represents Love. Could the green car be a gift of love from another that the person loves, and they likewise love the car? Even inaminate things react to our emotions and feelings. Ever look at the rambling wreck that has about 200,000 miles on it, but it keeps on purring for the owner? Then it gets sold, and falls apart immediately! This happens...

A car can represent the 'drive' in the dreamer too. It is up to you to fit the puzzle together as your Guidance directs. Green is an earth color, and the person may feel they paid too much for it (greenbacks)! You have to look at the whole dream, and if it is illusive, ask the dreamer for feedback, and this helps...

I like to use the body as symbolic, for lets say the dreamer says they lost their shoes. Well, the shoes cover the soles (protect the Soul?) so I might be inclined to feel the dreamer has holes in the aura, (smoking, drinking, etc.- but no judging allowed!) These aura 'holes' can harm the Dreamer. Dreamer breaks his leg in the dream. The legs are our "under-standing".  Catching on?
The hands- how are they 'handling things...See?

Always respect the privacy of the dreamer who bares all to you in the form of dreams. It is an intimate thing between the dreamer and the reader, so I keep it confidential, unless they share it on one of the boards I read on.
Namaste,
~eerie

Hi All

I have always known that during sleep the soul goes to a school somewhere.  I sometimes am allowed to remember that school.

Do you know anything about that Eerie?

Hi Jan, sorry for butting in.

That's the Creativity  School, and Old Souls are taken there by their Guides to  re-design their archtype.   Often if someone is having a difficult time dealing with the demands  of life here on the Earthly plane, their soul desires to create a change within to better handle & work through life.

And more often than not, the change is based on noticing the little things that are right with the world.  Noticing some of the small wonders of nature  are common, as it takes the mind's emphasis off the 'me' and shifts it to something 'outside me'.  It's a necessary shift to something selfless, and of great joy that allows the mind to re-set it's perameters of what's important & what's not.  That's the beginning of better self-esteem.

Hope that makes sense.

Hi Quiz,
thanks that makes sense.  Where did you learn about this school?  I have never read any where about it or heard anybody that ever remembered going to this school.  I just remember going there at night.  sometimes they let me remember having been there and what I learned.

Hey Jan!

It was at a group session last Nov. with a woman who channels her guide .  As it turns out her guide's soul & my soul are dear friends from many lifetimes ago, so I started getting almost as much info as her during the session.  What fun!

 Hi 3OliviaStarWoman ,

Fantastic that your love of ~eerie brought U to DSC2. We think she's pretty cool too. We'll try 2 accomodate more sectionz 4 beginnerz and that iz a great idea. One idea iz that various memberz will give workshopz in their specialties. TheZe workshopz are Not in real time in a chat room. Every member may attend them and interact whenever they have time and there'z a perfect record for our referene. There are no eXpertz. We all have life experience and internet machines. Let me know, {O}, and everyone who reads this, if you have a specialty you'd like to teach. Tongman for instance says he'll do a workshop on NLP. The 4 Whirlwindz will do one on prosperity, maybe we can coaX ~eerie 2 do one on dreamz,  etc.

Remember that it is not quite possible to stop dreaming while you live since "dreams" are your reality factory, literally. It iz very possible 2 go through long phaSes when you don't remember them.
To remember them keep a notebook with 3 or more pens near your bed and EVERYTIME you remember any feeling or memory write it down WITHOUT EDITING. Don't interpret while writing. Also, during your waking day, EVERYDAY, stare at your hands and ask "Am I dreaming?" for about 20 seconds. One day sooner or later you'll see your hand start to change and that means you sleeping and YOU ARE AWAKE IN YOUR DREAM (a Lucid Dream) and can do dang near any good thing that you want. Don't get overeXcited or you'll wake up. You can fly, talk with Einstein, have dinner with Clark Gable, check out the Pyramids or the Vatican and get answers to vexing problems.
CLARITY - means make the dream clearer.
SOLID - means make things more solid.
GUARD or OVERSOUL - means protection.
PEACE - means peace.
WAKE - means wake up now.

You get the idea. Those commands work for waking life too you just have 2 look for the resultz which may be more subtle.

By the way your anSwerz made plenty good sense, hope my suggestions do as well.
Oh yeah, and by the way. Your answerz 2 our questionz were perfect and....
You Are Now A David St. Clair Circlework. Welcome! .........  ......

Hi,
I sometimes think that dreams are a way for guides to get a message through, and sometimes a manifestation of some of the desires that we keep suppressed most of our waking hours. I have dreamed many things that have come true, and so I try to write them down as soon as I get up. Lately my dreams have been a continuation of my book, like a movie, its very exciting. I also have seen a dark shadow approaching me lately. My guides don't talk to me very much, mainly because I am learning to open up my mind to them. I am very excited about learning from all of you, and getting to know each of you better. Some day when I am a published, well-known author, I am going to build houses of learning and places where souls can rest all over the world. The organization will be called, "The Helping Hand". And all of you will be a part of it, if not in the flesh, than in the spirit. Namaste. Becki

Becki...

Your message warmed my heart...   Thank you for the kind words...
We are so pleased you have joined us here!

Your assessment of dreams is point on! You know your dream stuff! I look forward to your input when I begin the workshop on my method of intrepretating dreams...  stay tuned!

My Guides speak to me as a 'knowing' and lately I can't say if it is Guidance or merely myself...lol! For the time being - I accept that!

Thank you for sharing and if there is anything we can help you with - please ask and we will assist you in any way we can hon!
Namaste...  ~eerie
