Greetings all!

I have had this dream for years, since I was a little kid. I have not had it in a couple years. It used to seem like a visitation of some sort. Here goes...

I am sitting on a swing or a trapese in the complete dark high in the air. The strings that hold me in the air are miles long above me. I am hundreds of feet from the ground although i cannot see. I really am not sure if the ground is below me...it may be a infinate vastness...on and on forever. There is a single male authoriative voice that speaks to me...I think it is more speaking to my mind than to my ears. heard but not audible. I swing back and forth someties and sometimes i don't move at all. When I was young, the dream was scary, as I got older, it seemed less terrifying and more interesting.

i don't remeber what I am asked, it is like I am "checking in" every so often, to whom or for what i can only guess. it feels like creator or my guide that speaks to me. I sit up there for what seems hours.

the strange (?) thing is - I am scared of the dark. At times, I see dark shapes moving in the dark and I have no idea what they are, I walk very quickly away. Not sure iof all of this is intertwined...

There it is!

What a wonderful and powerful 'connection' you have to your Guide/HigherSelf/OverSoul hon! Many who doubt the existance of theirs and who have not yet made that conscious connection would be most envious!

Indeed the male voice is that of your Guide! (Yang aspect)

Time and space are non existant on the level from where that dream comes... so the vastness is understandable! The swing is like your vantage point... it forms a structure of sorts - balancing you far above the 'time track' of 3D reality...

Soul is a unit of consciousness that has a 360 degree viewpoint!

I feel the dream places you at a Soul prespective - between dimensions, overlooking creation! You go there in dreams to swing (rock back and forth, or comfort Self) during times of stress... to check in with OverSoul and recieve Guidance! You have gone there so many times during your lifetime as you stated! The reason your Guide repeats this 'dream experience' is to get your attention and make you aware of the fact that you are never alone!

I feel the shapes you see in the dark may be Astral entities... they frighten you because you have not yet faced your fears of the unknown (darkness)! Meditate more... ask for direction and it will be given you! There is nothing to fear except the fear itself!

I hope these impressions help you understand these powerful, attention getting experiences! Thank you for sharing... it was a pleasure to read them!

Great imagery Ruby My Dear (cool song by Thelonious Monk I think...)
The strange thing iz I remember having similar dreamz very, very often az
a child and I hadn't thought of them in yearz. Ruby, how odd and how wonderful
that you should mention this today. I also remember that I often fell and almost never hit the ground. I did once though and I don't rember that az clearly eXcept it didn't hurt. At least not like I thought it would. These dreamz were in elementary school dayz.

I know what they meant now. I know what your dream meanz too!
The trapeZe iz for life which iz the circus (Circle of Life) perversely/frivolously depicted by the Romans. The Romanz were an odd lot. Very odd disaffected beingz. The stringz in the air which hold you are your 'oversoul" or "superconsciousness" which are all approXiamate wordz which describez something so big it can't fit in our dimension and definitely not in our partial understanding of the wordZ we use... That'z why it speakz to your larger mind and not your smaller personality.

This understanding iz bigger than us therefore we see it az being above us in the sky. Some call it God or Goddess. Increasing evidence sayz it iz literally the part of us we cannot see, God/Goddess, just az Jesus the Christ said.

The fact that you are so high above ground symbolZes that in this dream you are in the backdrop.You are being shown somethingz behind the scenes of your life. The circus is quiet. The lightz are off til tomorrow. You are in a *suspended* moment. The voice speaks with authority. It iz the only voice your mind listenz 2 for now, your eyez and earz are in wonder.

This "space" iz beyond time and space so it seemz infinite and you seem to be there a very long time but there is only timelessness. The shapez in the dark that move are your thoughtz "taking form" and notice that you "quickly walk away" from them. Your are no longer suspended on the trapeZe of dreaming. The earth iz under your feet, your soles You are awake! You have seen the abstract backdrop of life behind the Wizard'z curtain! Great dream rubestar!
