In addition to it's Magickal uses, medicinally/holistically, cinnamon has been shown to have an effect on lowering blood pressure & helping the aging body use insulin like it did when it was younger, staving off adult-onset diabetes. Yesterday I went to the Walgreens pharmacy & bought some empty gelatin capsules that I've been filling with high quality cinnamon from Penzeys spice store. If 1-2 capsules a day keeps my out of the Dr's office & off BP meds, I'll keep doing it. Quizzy |

Quizmistress21, My b/f was dx with diab II in February of this year. He takes cinnamon in caps and makes the tea too. We buy cinnamon in chip form from a mom and pop herb shop. It is the real stuff. It does not compare to the store stuff. He takes Hydoxycitric Acid (HCA) or Citrimax, and cactus pills. Some times he eats cactus too. It kinda of tastes like a cross btwn a green bean and aspargus. He takes Chromium Polynicotinate not to be confused with Chromium Picolinate. In addition, he now exercises on daily basis. After reading countless books and much research this is what he has been taking and it works, baby! His sug is in control. So here it is: Cinnamon Cactus HCA Chromium Polynicontinate Exercise |
