Panther Cub: hullo sifu.
tongman: Hi Cub! How goes it?
tongman: Having fun with the Infinity Fist huh?
Panther Cub: great....just finished my shadow-boxing....whoa,i can feel the intense chi building up.
tongman: What are your newest insights?
Panther Cub: is that infinity fist?
tongman: Great! I had a great early AM workout meself! Sublime. Did you get the time-space distortion step video I sent u?
PC: yup. viewed some part of it. Very interesting and amazing to watch the distortion step done by master X! i'm already starting to play around with the flanking moves...
tongman: The Infinity Fist is the advanced chi projection secrets I taught you and Jumper recently. Don't you remember??
PC: u mean the shooting of chi is Infinity Punching?
tongman13: I video taped with my new digital camera for the first time yesterday. Very high quality of shooting and you and Jumper will benefit greatly from our examples of push hands.
tongman: If you didn't have any feel for the power and significance of the internal it looks like NOTHING. Like little children playing "tag! you're it!!"
PC: how different is the push hands? everyone seems to say that it's for training sensitivity....is that what it does exactly?
tongman: That is one of the most dazzling features of the art! Its "occult" nature! My Sifu hates that word but man! Its THE PERFECT word! This stuff looks so weird and effortless that even after being exposed to it most can't deal with it. Even after feeling it!!
tongman: Push Hands the way we approach it is nothing other than contained fighting! ACTUAL FIGHTING yet in a contained and controlled manner which..
tongman: is less exhausting, and more importantly, LESS FRAUGHT WITH INEVITABLE INJURIES than normal sparring. The learning curve is also...
tongman: very accelerated in that beginners and inexperienced fighters (hummingbird for instance) can quickly ingrain the principles and Applications of proper Wu Tang combat! Apart from that, it is relaxing, stimulating, artful, fun, and a great overall external and internal workout with intellectual and spiritual dimensions.
PC: cool.......i think i have quite a few questions sifu,do u have anything on later? so many questions to ponder.....
tongman: I feel it may be the most advanced and subtle depiction of combat I have ever witnessed.
You will recieve it soon. I can't say enough about the wonders of Push Hands. I play it, with hummingbird in particular, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
PC: push hands sorta internalizes the principles so that it can be used more "without thought" in actual combat?
tongman: Yes, and its as if "training wheels" are on your bike but THESE training wheels are magical and in time they allow you to gain sensitivity, insight and fluidity beyond that of a regular bicycle?! One more magical arsenal in the Chinese Boxer'sWarchest!
tongman: We had a "layperson" attend class yesterday. Always a valuable experience. I made a mistake by not getting her to experience at least some of our High Grade Nei Kung first but she had allergies and wasn't into it. She shot some good video for us though.
Anyway, her reaction was predictable (although it may change once I get her to do some High Grade...). After watching us for a while she said "I can see thats not for me. I want some high kicking and punching like Kung Fu. You know? Like you see in the movies."
tongman: Anyway. Panther Cub, I got some errands to take care of and write your other questions by email. Talk to you soon champ! Study hard! Study soft!!
PC: ok. 1 last question sifu, den i'm done for the day..........
PC: what r the 9 levels of energy mentioned in Chinese Boxing? i asked master X on that and a few other questions but got no reply. Hope i didn't say anything wrong again. hmmmmm
