Please reread and re-evaluate the significance of Sunday's email. If you guys didn't know what you do know you could only be considered Rational and PRACTICAL for disbelieving every word in it.
Can anyone you know or have ever heard of (except for "master X" and "Sender!") fight for 10 rounds with about 3 secs. in between rounds, then take take a short break and repeat the same 3Xs (40 rounds total), while dehydrated, recovering from food poisoning, defeat their opponent in 4 secs. or less 9 out of 10 times, greatly outweighed by their opponent, outyouthed, one year of instruction, a member of the so-called "weaker-sex", a 10 inch height disadvantage, not break a sweat or exert herself enough to even breathe hard, while instructed to do so by a relative beginner himself, and do all of this with sporadic part-time training over the course of a year in between managing an extremely demanding career as an editor and publisher of a national publication??!
"hummingbird" is pretty cool but this isn't even about her this is about HUMAN POTENTIAL!
When I met "hummingbird" last year this time she was suffering from serious chiropractic complications. That is why she sought out the High Grade Nei Kung. Learning martial arts was an interest but "...not my priority. I'm in it for the healing and the energy". Thats when I said to myself, she is the perfect subject for an experiment which will teach us all. She has NO previous martial arts instruction or fighting experience whatsoever. Maybe the reason people doubt the potency of true Chinese Boxing is their is no precedent for acheivement and performance on this scale outside of Kung Fu movies, fantasy, comicbooks or the inner recesses of Monasteries. The Monastery is the key and the compressed (literally!) wiZdom of thousands of years of dedicated science by those who devoted themselves to human potential and martial Excellence.
Maybe we have too much? But when has that ever been enough?! For those in the know "hummingbird" used but three principles:
1)Vertical leverage
2)Sundial
3)Internal Furnace
The rules of our "rounds" were no striking because I wanted to focus on our grappling skills ("Internal Grappling"). It was hard (and painful! lol lol!) at first to get her to concentrate on not striking. She is so used to that now that she kept striking at first and All of those strikes were crippling and she was usually not aware of her short gesture-like strikes which penetrated to the bone! That is Very Good and very Real.
I told her to twist and turn the opponent's weak areas to either get him to the ground and subdue them by pinning them with her foot or knees. Or get them where their neck, knee or some other joint is being CONTINUOUSLY TURNED AND TWISTED TIL THE the attacker has to surrender. No actual techiques (such as hammer locks, arm bars, etc.) but instead whatever comes up. Sunday was THE FIRST time I ever instructed her in this although she automatically and unknowingly demonstrated aspects of it in the past. Its a natural outgrowth of the Thunder Step system.

SUN. 5:12pm EST
Most people seem to be consumed with the consumerism of the holidays so I was surprised that hummingbird even wanted to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to Manhattan for Internal Kung Fu today!? "hummingbird" has been studying Chinese Boxing exactly one year to the date. No one else wanted to and their trips are much shorter! She called on Tuesday to make sure there would be a class. I was even more surprised when she arrived and said she was slightly dazed from a case of food poisoning on her overseas vacation from which she returned on Monday.
She hadn't eaten food or drank water since Tues!! However she KNEW if she could get to class the High Level Nei Kung would repair her. She was atypically dazed and weak when she arrived. She took to the Nei Kung slowly and at first I thought we would have to resign ourselves to a short session of only Nei Kung. Not so. Today's session was 4 1/2 hours long and we covered more ground and made more progress in this class than nearly any session Ever! I learned as much, if not more (!!) than she did.
The new focus of late with the "New York Crew" are master X's teachings on "Internal Grappling". I'm reminded of my early Chinese Boxing days when Sifu had "Intelligent Bear" and I covertly enter a grappling schools (with "Flattener" and a scary looking crony of his looking out for us from the sidelines just in case we needed back up!!). We did good and shocked ourselves and many of the students. I heard a student whisper "maybe they are mobsters.....". If "hummingbird" performed just like she did today she would have outclassed "Intelligent Bear" and I put together back then.
What I love about "Internal Grappling" is that its a type of "Death-Touch"-grappling with that signature unbelievable simplicity. Maybe I'm spoiled by Chinese Boxing but I find the idea of classical chin na and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu extremely unattractive because of its technical attrition nature. "War*god" once said that no one outside of Chinese Boxing would understand or believe "hummingbird" taking me and "Assassin" out of the picture with one internal blow repeatedly. He and "Professional" also said that their mental vison showed them that "hummingbird" was unaware of what she was doing and it only worked because she subjugated herself to my instruction of certain principles which "master X" taught me. That is another great value of "Internal Grappling". It makes it easier to slow the blinding "slowspeed" of these arts down so that the student can Overstand and Understand what they are actually doing.
We went about 10 rounds at a time in which I demonstrated and lectured and we took turns External and internal. Once "hummingbird" "got it" she was able to make me tap out and submit 9 out of 10 times. It never took more than 4 seconds!!! Many times she accidentally incapacitated me with strikes so fast and invisible they eluded HER awareness. Many other times she made me tap out with fingertip pressure to my throat, neck, or ribs!!??! Can you say Vulcan Nerve pinch??! She WAS NOT using pressure points (pressure zones but NOT specific points or Anatomy, etc., no Montague, etc....). I had to explain to her what she was doing??!!!???
I don't know if this sounds like b.s. to those of you who are reading this but I am obviously as amazed as anyone by the whole thing. We went about 4 sets of 10 rounds (a total of 40!!) not including the rounds where I was the internal defender/instructor. In between those sets and before them AND AFTER THEM, Nei Kung, NEI KUNG, NEI KUNG! "hummingbird" never so much as broke a sweat because her application was nearly effortless (at least the the Nei Kung which composed 85% of today's work and the HIGHGRADE chi made it seem that way). Unfortunately none of this is on video. Next time though!! I can almost guarantee that that is one video that will look very, very fake!!

P.S.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!
